Does it keep the book's chapters?
Yes, and they are real chapters rather than a marker every ten minutes: they come from the EPUB's own table of contents. The resulting .m4b is navigated chapter by chapter in any audiobook player, with cover art and resume support.
How long does a whole book take?
It depends on the device and the size of the book, but the practical answer is: leave it at bedtime and it is done by morning. If you have the bridge, your computer synthesises it far faster and sends it back to your phone finished.
What about books with DRM?
Yappy reads the EPUBs you can open. Books protected with a store's DRM cannot be read, here or anywhere else: that lock is not ours.
Where does the audiobook end up?
In Yappy's library, as a real .m4b. From there you share it to Files, to Books, or to whichever player you already use. The file is yours: if you uninstall the app, whatever you exported stays where you saved it.
